Tookapic helps you start and manage your daily photo journal or as some call it - a 365 project.
The rules are simple youre only allowed to upload one photo a day. The photo should be taken and uploaded on the same day. After completing a whole year youll have a personal album of wonderful memories.
Tookapic is a companion app for a popular website tookapic.com. With thousands of likeminded people its much easier to maintain the 365 project and stay motivated.

STORY BEHIND THE APP:
It was August 14th 2013. Me and my girlfriend just moved into our own new house. We didn’t have any furniture in the living room yet. It was late evening. Long after the sunset. I was sitting in the middle of the living room on a chair I brought from my office. I thought to myself. Ok, now what?
I decided to start a 365 and learn photography. Practicing something every day is the best way to become better. I started a photo blog on tumblr and posted my first photo on August 14th, 2013. Exactly one year later I posted a photo #365. Not a one day missed.
It was a great adventure. I learned a lot. But during that year-long journey I missed the feedback. Any type of feedback actually. So I decided to build tookapic. A place for people like me. People who want to learn photography. People who want to start their own 365 projects. People like you.
Thank you for being here. Thank you for being a member of this wonderful community. I hope tookapic helps you with your 365 project. I hope you’ll have as much fun browsing the site as I had building it.
